Our History
The adventure began in 2007 when Richard Demongeot, then a systems engineer in the telecom industry, launched his freelance IT infrastructure business. Some clients from those early days still work with RDEM Systems today -- certain relationships date back to 2010, proof of trust built over time.
In 2016, the business was formalized with the creation of RDEM Systems SAS. The company was built around a core conviction: mastering the entire technical chain -- from the physical network to the applications -- to deliver reliability and responsiveness impossible to achieve with generalist providers.
From the very start, RDEM Systems chose to operate its own network infrastructure by obtaining the autonomous system AS206014 from RIPE NCC. This BGP network, interconnected to major European exchange points (France-IX, DE-CIX, AMS-IX, LINX), enables the company to guarantee controlled connectivity for its clients, with no dependence on a third-party hosting provider.
Today, RDEM Systems supports businesses in managing their infrastructure: Proxmox virtualization, NimbusBackup, MariaDB databases, 24/7 monitoring, and operates a Stratum 1 NTP server contributing to the global time synchronization network.

Passionate about infrastructure for over 18 years, Richard founded RDEM Systems in 2016 with one conviction: delivering sharp technical expertise while staying close to his clients.
His career has taken him from high-availability telecom environments to multi-terabyte database migrations, through to operating BGP autonomous systems. This breadth of experience enables him to approach infrastructure projects holistically, from the network cable to the application.
Active contributor to the NTP Pool since 2005, he also operates AS206014 -- because controlling your own network infrastructure means guaranteeing your clients' independence.

NTP Pool Project
Since 2005, RDEM Systems has contributed to the NTP Pool Project, a global network of time servers that ensures precise clock synchronization for millions of devices worldwide.
Our Stratum 1 NTP server, equipped with a GPS reference clock, provides high-precision time to the public network. This service is offered free of charge to the Internet community, reflecting our commitment to open and shared infrastructure.
